How soon can a cleaner start?
Normally within a week/days depending on your requirements and which day of the week you need the cleaner to come.
Will I have to sign a contract?
You are under no contractual obligation as payment is made at each visit.
What will WHD do in my home?

In addition to any special requirements that you have requested our service includes removing cobwebs and dusting skirting boards, pictures, lampshades, knick-knacks, window sills, furniture, and light fittings and vacuum throughout. We wipe cupboard fronts clean, wash floors and cleanse kitchens and bathrooms. We will provide a free in-home estimate to allow us to better understand your cleaning needs and expectations.

Will the cleaners do ironing?
Yes, as long as it is within the same cleaning hours. Extra hours charged at normal cleaning price.
Who will clean my home?

Your home will usually be cleaned by a team of two full-time, fully trained, WHD staff. For security and your peace of mind, our maids are uniformed, fully vetted and highly trained.

Do I need to provide any cleaning equipment or supplies?

All cleaning products and tools are provided by WHD. We are able to use our customers cleaning equipment or supplies if preferred, provided that these meet health and safety requirements.

If you hold the keys to my house who will have access to them?
The people who clean your home are the only people who have access to your keys. The only identification is an individual key code number, the reference to which is always kept separate from the keys.
Will I have to do anything before my house is cleaned?

You could spend a few minutes tidying where necessary. This will enable us to devote all our time to cleaning and will give you best value for your cleaning fee.

What time will the maids be in my home?

We normally work Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4pm. We are unable to give a specific time on a service day, but we may be able to specify a morning or an afternoon service. We will make every effort to meet customer preferences. If you need to change your regular day you should speak to us and we would be glad to help.

What if I do not want cleaning to be done while I am away on holiday?

Please give us a call, giving us at least two working days notice of your requirements.

What happens if my scheduled cleaning falls on a statutory holiday?
We contact you to make alternative arrangements.
How do I arrange special requests, changes or cancellations?

How do I pay for the service?

You are asked to pay on the day the cleaning is done. Most of our customers find it convenient to leave Cash Payment in an envelope or folded paper on the kitchen table or work surface. A receipt will be left for cash payments.

What if something gets broken when my home is cleaned?

We treat your home with the utmost care, but we would ask you to move anything of high value prior to us dusting etc. If something is damaged or broken we will leave a note and will contact you as soon as possible. We will make every effort to have the item replaced if it cannot be repaired.
